Name: Morgan Campbell. Date of birth: 24/09/74. Birthplace: South Perth Hospital (same place as the badger!) Residing now: Fitzroy, Melbourne. Stance: Regular, except when I skate switch I am goofy. But I normally skate regular. Describe your current set-up: A 4 skateboard measuring in at just over 8 inches in width, indy stage 8 146's trucks, 52 mm Type-s wheels, Modus titaniums(spacers in), Modus hardware. oh and Modus grip, normally with something spilt on it. It is never hard to pick my board…it is always the filthy one. Other sponsors: Hurley, Nike SB, Independent Trucks, Modus, Type-S Wheels, Hemley's, Momentum skate shop If you could steal the ability to do one trick off one person what would it be and who would it be from: Backside noseblunt slides from Kenny Anderson. If you had to work for a fast food restaurant which one would it be: Man tough question as I’m a vegetarian...Subway or Jester’s Pies. If you could have one spot in your backyard what would it be: Nedlands Skatepark. Weirdest thing you have ever seen whilst out skateboarding: Once I saw a car swerve at me and then u-bolt and go for four of my friends, they missed them, but they hit a massive concrete nugget on the end of an uprooted street sign that we had been skating. The car got airborne like it was in dukes of hazard and then grinded to a halt with a snapped front axel: sparks everywhere. Much to our bemusement the car grinded to a halt and the little joy riders ran off from the smouldering wreck with their tails between their legs. It was serious poetic justice. Four things that would make a perfect day: Waking up with my girl, going out for breakie with some strong coffee, doing some writing whilst listening to some beats and then going out for a roll and some frisbee in the golden hours of twilight. First place you ever saw a skateboard: At grandma’s house in Mt Pleasant, Perth. My cousin had a yellow plastic fantastic. It was 1977. He let me roll on it: sitting only. I think i’ve been hooked ever since. Favourite trick: Anything long, lofty or locked. Least favourite trick: Slob airs are pretty stinky. Place you have never been that you would love to go: South America Who’s part are you looking forward to in the 4 video: Totally impossible to pick. Everyone rips, although I must admit I'm a big fan of Will Ackerman. One of the most blessed out styles I have ever seen. Favourite 4 graphic: The current series - Percolate.
